Justmylook Saving Hacks & Tips
They Sent Me the Wrong Foundation Shade
I ordered a specific foundation shade from justmylook.com, but when it arrived it was a completely different one. For me, foundation is one of those products where the shade has to be right, so it was basically unusable. I ended up having to arrange a return, which was just extra hassle I really could’ve done without
Had to chase my refund
My refund didn’t come through as quickly as I’d hoped, so I ended up having to message them again, before it finally got sorted. It did get resolved in the end, but, i was a bit annoyed I had to chase it.
Easy enough, but something felt a bit off
I ordered from Justmylook and, to be fair, the actual checkout was straightforward. PayPal went through without any hassle, which is always a plus. The only thing is the search on the site felt a bit clunky, so finding what I wanted took longer than expected. Nothing major went wrong, but something about the browsing experience felt slightly off. Once I got to checkout though, it was smooth enough.
Shampoo leaked a bit in the delivery box
My shampoo arrived with a bit of it leaked into the box, so everything was kind of sticky when I opened it. To be fair, most of the product was still in the bottle, so it wasn’t a total waste, but it was still a bit annoying to clean up
Dispatch was slower than they made it sound
I ordered from justmylook.com thinking it would be sent out quickly, because the site definitely gives that impression. But my order just sat there for days without being dispatched, which felt a bit misleading to be honest. Not the end of the world, but definitely frustrating when you’re expecting a faster service
Seemed legit enough to me
I was a bit unsure before ordering, but everything I received looked and felt like the real thing. The packaging seemed normal, the products worked as expected, and there wasn’t any odd smell or anything off about them. I just went with common sense and checked things over when they arrived, and I didn’t see any reason to worry
The code actually worked for once
I was expecting the usual checkout nonsense where the promo code magically doesn’t apply, but this one actually worked on justmylook.com. It didn’t knock off a huge amount, which is a bit annoying, but saving something is better than paying full price.
Tracking just stopped updating
My tracking was updating fine at first, then it just went completely quiet. The order did turn up in the end, so it’s not even about that, I just had no idea when it was coming and couldn’t really plan around it.
Good beauty selection
For some reason, I always end up browsing way longer than I planned on justmylook.com. They’ve got haircare, fragrance, skincare, and makeup all in one place, which makes it really easy to add a few extra things to your basket without meaning to...
Return postage is a bit annoying
I ordered a few bits from Justmylook and ended up changing my mind on one item... but had to cover the return postage myself. Not the end of the world, but for something small it kinda makes the return feel not worth bothering with
Discount code didn’t work on my perfume
I tried using a discount code on Justmylook for a perfume I’d been eyeing, and of course it didn’t apply at checkout. I thought I’d done something wrong at first, but then I noticed some brands are excluded from codes. Bit annoying especially when you get all the way to paying and then realise the saving isn’t happening.
Delivery was actually really quick
I ordered from justmylook.com and it turned up in 2 days, which I was impressed with. The tracking emails were easy to follow too, so I wasn’t left wondering where it was. no complaints from me, happy with the whole thing.
Popular shades seem to disappear fast
I don’t know why, but every time I find the brand I want on Justmylook, the shade I need is the one that’s sold out. It’s usually the popular shades too, so now I try to grab them when I see them rather than waiting.
They left one item out
I ordered and paid for 3 items, but when the parcel turned up there were only 2 inside. Bit annoying, because that’s clearly on them, and I had to be the one chasing it up. I’ve contacted customer service now, so I’m just waiting to see what they say.
Randomly spotted some decent prices
I wasn’t really planning to buy anything, but I had a quick look on justmylook and ended up grabbing my shampoo because it was cheaper than Boots and Lookfantastic. Not everything was a bargain, but a few things genuinely made me go, “oh, that’s actually a good price.”
No seal made me a bit wary
Not gonna lie, when my skincare from Justmylook turned up without a seal, it made me feel a little unsure. It might be totally normal for that product, but I still didn’t love it and probably would’ve felt better if it had been sealed
Am I missing something with the return window?
I returned something to Justmylook that was completely unopened, but the return rules felt strict to me. Am I missing something, or is the time limit easy to overlook? Definitely don’t leave anything sitting around if you’re unsure about keeping it.
Packaging could definitely be better
The weird part is, the perfume itself was totally fine, but the box arrived a bit crushed. If you’re ordering beauty bits as a gift from justmylook.com, I’d just be aware the packaging might not be the best. It would be nice if they packed items like this a little more securely.
Added a little extra to get free delivery
I ended up adding a cheap face mask to my justmylook order just so I could reach the free delivery minimum. I was like, well, if I’m going to spend the money anyway, I’d rather get something for it than hand it over for postage. Felt like a tiny win
Good prices, but double-check everything!!!
I’ve ordered from justmylook.com for cheap beauty bits and the prices can be really good!!! I’d probably buy from them again, but I’d definitely check product seals when it arrives, keep an eye on delivery times, and make sure you know the return costs before ordering!!!
